Our Dream is to become a community dedicated to
exploring the life and teachings of Jesus.
It’s a progressive, dynamic, community of people engaged with God, one another, our city and our world.
It’s freedom in action.
Faith, hope and love in practice.
For our community, exploring Jesus life and teachings involves the entirety of a person. It’s a holistic, social-spirituality that leads us to understand and experience God with our mind, spirit and actions. To explore our faith within our dreams, work, relationships and city. To live as the Church — reflecting the image of God.
Because it’s not enough to think of the word church as a noun — a location or event. We have to get back to thinking of church as a verb — the Church as a movement of God’s people, joining the work of Jesus, restoring all things.

Who We Are
In one way we are a collection of people, individuals and churches, who love the people of New York and want to see a vibrant faith community on the streets of Manhattan. Together we’re praying, risking and giving financially to this dream.
In another way we’re one couple, Steven and Emily Dilla, moving to Manhattan this summer. Our dream is that we could love the city, connect with new friends — who like us have moved to NYC with a dream — that we could worship God, explore the scriptures and live out faith together.
We believe the way of Jesus will change the world. Most exciting, we believe it could change New York City. We long for Christ to come – through our lives, hearts and actions – to the streets of New York and we give ourselves to joining him in the restoration of all things.
